California weekend

My friend Erin invited us to her wedding in northern California.  It was during the school year so we were only able to go for the weekend which made it a little hectic. It was the first time the boys have been in an airplane.  Reece (3 yrs 5 months) was particularly excited.  Adam is is only 1 year 2 months so he does not quite get all the excitement but he had fun anyway.

The boys experienced the beach for the first time on this trip.  The sand was really dark and actually had a lot of junk/debris in it and the water was really cold but as usual the actual ocean was beautiful and the sounds of the waves crashing was awesome.  They loved the water rushing over their feet but as soon as it did they would try to run away since it was soooo cold.

Reece and Adam loved Winnett Vineyards where the reception was held. Erin's grandpa was teaching them about the grapes. Reece LOVED sampling the grapes directly from the vine...it was pretty cool!









The lady holding Reece's hand is my friend Erin's friend who happened to be on our return flight.  We were chatting in the airport and she offered to help us get the kids set up on the plane.  Reece was more than happy to take her hand.

I love the little piggies free on the plane.  Adam had his own seat on the flight home which made things a little easier for us!
