BLT

Reece is in first grade now and is reading and sounding out words that we spell. I sometimes forget that he does this and will spell things to Joe and Reece will yell out proudly the word I spelled ;) So yesterday morning I pulled some turkey bacon out of the freezer to thaw for dinner and said to Joe "We are having BLT's for dinner tonight." Reece quickly asked "We are having BELTS for dinner?" haha I explained and then jokingly said "Yes would you like a brown belt or a black belt for dinner?"

The BLT's were a hit because Reece wanted to make sure that he ate a B, a L, and a T! He usually does not eat lettuce or tomatoes but wanted to try them on his sandwich because of its name!
