spit on it

At mass this morning the sun was reflected on Reece's head causing a shadow on the wall near us. He asked me "Is that my hair sticking up?" It was actually still sticking up a bit despite the facty that I wet it down before we left the house.... "If my hair really looks like that then spit on it mom or something...I can't have crazy hair at church." It was so funny!
