Sam's first fever

Sam was crying most of the night last night and Joe and I have been awake since 1 AM.  It is wednesday today so basically pulled an all nighter in the middle of the week ;(  In the morning we took his temperature because he started feeling warm.  He would not let us lay him down...he would scream in pain which is unlike him.  So  Joe took Sam to the Dr. today and he has a left ear infection which is kind of what i suspected since laying down made him feel more pain.  I hate that he has an ear infection already at only 12 weeks old I hope this is not a sign of things to come!    He weighed 12 pounds 7 ounces today at the doctor.
