OUR BABY BOY TURNED 2 and I can't hardly believe it! It does seem like yesterday that we were adjusting to our new family of four and it has been 2 years. Adam is a joy in our lives.
I thought a lot about what type of cake to make for Adam. He likes a variety of things but the one thing that is very consistent is coloring. He loves to color and often is walking through the house with a crayon and or a coloring book so crayons became the theme for his 2nd birthday party. The table was covered in large coloring pages made into a table cloth; new, fresh crayons were provided for all to share and of course a variety of colored balloons, plates and napkins. We also had an ELmo balloon in which Elmo was also coloring. It was a fun party and we are so blessed to have our ADAM!
Some things about Adam: * Unlike his brother he is a bit more introverted until he gets to know people * He loves to color and for others to color with him * He hates ice cream but loves chewing on ice cubes especially those which he digs out of our full glasses * Adam is beginning to use more words although this skill is still developing. he has many words but here are a few prominant ones: mommy, daddy, brother, reece, cute, baby, more, open it, juice, bottle, car, all gone, play, gama(grandma), papa, mine, sausage, please, thank you, kiss ....I could go on and on... * Adam loves to snuggle when he is tired or needs some downtime * Adam loves to laugh especially with big brother Reece * Adam loves to blow raspberries on mommy's belly both he and I laugh everytime. He only does this to me no one else! * Adam has blonde hair with gentle curls ...mommy loves these curls and will never have the heart to cut them off! * Adam loves to have his boo boo's kissed over and over until exhaustion ;) * Adam loves to play outside especially in the landscape rocks with his trucks and in his sand box.
