Trip to Botanical Garden

We have not been to the Botanical Garden since Reece was a baby so we decided to take a little field trip. It was a cool overcast day with the threat of rain so we specifically picked the Kid friendly activities first. We went to the childrens garden first and the boys realy enjoyed climbing on the rope bridge and playing in the water. Their favorite part of the day, especially Adam's was feeding the Koi fish. We had to hang onto Adam at all times becuase he would have fallen in the water otherwise. At one point we went closer to the water instead of standing on the bridge, Adam laid right on his belly and was trying to feed the fish by hand. The fish were so big I think they may have eaten his little hand thinking it was a treat! Of our two boys Adam is the animal lover. Reece likes animals too...but he is more cautious. Adam jumps right in and starts to pet and talk to them without any fear...scary!
